The boats we lived on. Our catamaran was called RAINBOW RIDER. Oh yeah,
it was the gayest, bestest, most flamboyant boat out there.
start at the bottom left. That's how we showered. For real. I showered
in the ocean for 3 weeks. I was actually really clean, I swear!
Waking up at the buttcrack of dawn so that we can sail and see the sunrise.
Conrad
is one of the last BVI natives. Around 70 something yrs old. He was
awesome, he had the most amazing memory. He laughed
exactly like Yoda. In fact I think they modeled Yoda's laugh off of
him. It was so cute I recorded it! He played the harmonica for us too.
He was also a happy drunk - we cleaned up the area near his home
and all we found were beer bottles - mostly his. He was 80% blind but
still lived alone and climbed ladders and stuff. He's been offered
someone like 10 million for his property that he inherited but he
refused the offer. He lives like a 5 minute walk away from the most
expensive resort in the BVI. Go Conrad!!
He lived with about 30 cats and kittens who only allowed him to touch
them. They were adorable and beautiful, probably would be worth tons.
But probably all diseased. They all seemed to be related too.
